Morgan’s Inspiration Island
Opened in 2010, Morgan’s Wonderland became the first fully accessible theme park for people with disabilities. Gordon and Maggie Hartman noticed that other children were wary of their daughter and didn’t want to play with her in the hotel pool. This led them to create a barrier-free place where everyone could understand each other and have fun.
Morgan’s Inspiration Island water park opened in 2017. While at Morgan’s Wonderland you will find attractions without water, here you will live a refreshing experience in San Antonio, Texas. You can take a ride on an accessible boat, play with sounds and water, get carried away on surfboards….
Visitors can fully enjoy all the water games. The park offers three types of waterproof wheelchairs (loaned on a first-come, first-served basis and at no extra cost). Bags to protect oxygen tanks and collars to cover windpipes are also provided.
Aquatica Orlando
Aquatica Orlando is one of the most visited water parks in the world. For this reason, it has facilities for guests with reduced mobility.
The park has paved paths, except for the sandy beaches. As specified on its official website, the rivers and family attractions have entrances without steps. The restrooms are adapted and properly signposted. In addition, the following attractions include ramps for wheelchair users: Cutback Cove, Big Surf Shores and Loggerhead Lane.
There are five attractions that can only be entered via stairs that meet ADA guidelines. However, they will only be accessible to certain people.

Cedar Point Shores
Cedar Point Shores is located next to Cedar Point, home to the second tallest roller coaster in the world. This water park in Sandusky, Ohio, is great for family fun.
Visitors can request a water wheelchair and lifts to enjoy the pools. We recommend that you check with the park management team and contact them in advance.

Six Flags White Water
Located in East Cobb, Georgia, Six Flags White Water has been rated multiple times as one of the best water parks in North America.
