The Paramount Times Square is located in downtown Manhattan and very close to Times Square NYC, an iconic area of New York. It opened in 1928 and was designed by Thomas White Lamb, one of the leading cinema and theater architects of the era. The building has a French Renaissance style and its facilities were redesigned in 1986. The property attracted much attention years later and was, subsequently, bought by an art collector.
This accessible hotel has extensive facilities adapted for guests with reduced mobility. Its public entrance is accessible and has a lowered mobile reception desk to facilitate the check-in process of wheelchair-bound guests.
Paramount Times Square has a large lobby where guests may sit comfortably and relax and a cafeteria with pool tables, shuffleboard and table football. Some of the services and amenities available at this hotel include: gym; small shop; business rooms and The Sony Hall, destined for music shows. The facilities also have an accessible public toilet.
Like the rest of the hotel, accessible rooms are characterized by being quite
spacious. Rooms have a contemporary style where white and minimalist decorations predominate. Two accessible room categories are available: classic or superior rooms. Both are equipped with television, free Internet access and air conditioning.
Adapted bathrooms vary depending on the type of accommodation. They can have a bathtub or a roll-in shower with a shower seat. Both options have grab bars. All bathrooms are furnished with complimentary toiletries.
